Profile

Ricardo Flores-Fillol is an associate professor at Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). He obtained his PhD in 2007 at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB), under the supervision of Inés Macho-Stadler. His thesis analyzes the different sources of competition in the airline industry and the phenomenon of airline alliances.

His research interests are focused on microeconomics, industrial organization, air transportation economics, and urban economics.

His publications have appeared in academic journals such as European Economic Review, Journal of Environmental Economics and Management, Journal of the Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, Journal of Economics and Management Strategy, International Journal of Industrial Organization, and Regional Science and Urban Economics, Economics Letters, among others.
