Barbara Ama Zelu is a doctoral student at the Department of Economics and Business at the Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). She has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and an Mphil Economics degree from the same University. Barbara also has a Master’s degree in Quantitative Economics from the University of Alicante. Her areas of interest are in Development & Gender Economics, Applied Microeconomics and Labour Economics. She started her doctorate in October 2021, and is currently working on Financial Inclusion and Women Economic Empowerment.
